Time is just 10 percent of what happens to us and 90 percent how we respond to it. We’re in charge of our personal actions and postures, and altering them when it’s proper. When you’re around people/things that are uplifting and supportive, you look better! You get more confidence in yourself, and realize you will move whatever needs changing. On the flip side, if you are always falling for people who love complaining and making bad living decisions, you can make it increasingly difficult to keep a positive attitude.  You’ll be less likely to feel like you have control over your own life.

Amidst confusion, rude, thoughtless, loveless and wholesomely selfish reality, we do have the choice to be . If time, as much cited is 10% what occurs to us and 90% how we respond to it, It then means that our ability of choice to decide our reaction/attitude to life matters is of higher consequence than the real matter of living or happenstance itself. This is where we get our choice, our privilege to decide our answer that makes us unique amongst all different animals of the world. We represent humans. We are made in the one and perfect picture of the Lord. We have the ability to take our natural power deposited at us, to create the desirable change in every situations to make our world a much better place.  The only thing that can stop us from doing so is ourselves.  We must be willing to face the reality of our own mortality and live with it.  We must not let fear hold us back from living out our dreams.

We must not allow others to dictate our destiny.  The only way to achieve your goals is by working hard and being persistent.  I am sure you will find something that makes you happy.  It may be a new job, an opportunity to travel or even just some time away from home.  Whatever it is, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.  If you are going through a tough time, remember that no matter how bad things get in your life  or how much pain you feel, there is always someone who has been through bitter times than you. It’s okay to have a bad day, but don’t let it stop you from achieving your goals and dreams. The best thing you can do for yourself is to keep trying until you succeed at something you love. I’m sure you’ve heard this before, but it’s true!  You can’t control everything, but you can control how much effort you put into something. If you’re not willing to work hard enough, then nothing will ever happen.

We are not defined by our successes or our failures, our accomplishments or our mistakes. What we are defined by, though, is how we react to them. “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to what happens to you.” Write your own story by the way you react, by your perspective on life, by the way you view the world.

Hi, I am Alecia Hall, the creater of “Brea-kin Barriers” and I am from St. Mary Jamaica. I have been a Customer Service Representative at Digicel Jamaica for over 4 years and started working as a Virtual Assistant on Fiverr in February 2020.

I have gained customers from the US, UK, Hong Kong, Barbados & my very own, Jamaica. Some of my tasks as a Virtual Assistant includes proofreading & editing, data entry, research, transcribing, handling emails, and more.

I started this website “Brea-kin Barriers” to offer several benefical services to my readers which includes:

Inspirational quotes and reflections
How to earn additional income online
My Virtual Assistant Services
An online Course: Your Breakthrough To Growth & Success: Shattering all negative barriers
And a step by step guide on How To Start a Blog

The term breaking barriers is something that I am very passionate about and I love to see persons rising to the surface, “shattering the glass ceiling” as they start to grow until they have reached success. I am one known for always encouraging others and is reliable when it comes on to motivation.

My favourite quote that I live by is “The race is not for the swift but for those who can endure to the end”.

The fastest one does not always win the race and the battle does not necessarily mean it’s for the strong. After all, I believe that sometimes you have to through a dark tunnel and sometimes life has to throw you lots of lemons before you can get grapes to make wine.
